I saw the movie for the first time just on Thursday evening, and it changed my life. It is the happiest movie that I have ever seen and it quickly became my new favorite. As the movie began I thought that it would be annoying seeing that it is all in French and I would have to read the subtitles, but I didn't mind it as the movie went on, and I found that I even enjoyed reading the subtitles. All in all, it is a wonderful movie.

I don't understand the part after she leads the blind man to the metro though. When the color goes different and he looks up. Could anyone tell me what they think that means? I also don't understand the part right befor Nino chases the man in the red shoes, when you can see Amelie's heart beating. Is it because she's in love with him? There are other parts in the movie that have similar features, like when it shows the key through her pocket, and when she melts after seein Nino, but those parts I get. It would be very helpful if someone could explain to me what the other parts I mentioned mean though.
